I just came across this story over on my fellow blogger CL spot and have to say this is the first time I have even heard on this event goin down!

Last fall in Jena, Louisiana, the day after two Black high school students sat beneath the “white tree” on their campus, nooses were hung from the tree. When the superintendent dismissed the nooses as a “prank,” more Black students sat under the tree in protest. The District Attorney then came to the school accompanied by the town’s police and demanded that the students end their protest, telling them, “I can be your best friend or your worst enemy… I can take away your lives with a stroke of my pen.” A series of white-on-black incidents of violence followed, and the DA did nothing. But when a white student was beaten up in a schoolyard fight, the DA responded by charging six black students with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

In 2007 this shit is re-fuckin-dic-u-lious! I can whole heartily say that I myself have never experienced this type of shit being that I'm from a very diverse metropolis like Los Angeles but I couldn't even fathom having to deal with this fuckin madness I would catch a few 187's fuck just attempted! Keith Richards admits ingesting all manner of substances in his time. But none quite as bizarre as he reveals in his latest confession: he snorted his father's ashes.

PROBABLY YES on Prop 1B - Basically the state can sell of nearly $20 Billion in bonds to help relieve traffic and pollution. There hasn't been too much negative press on it, but only a few outspoken organizations have endorsed it publicly. That said, I'm leaning towards voting for it.

YES on Prop 1C - The state would sell off nearly $3 billion in bonds to help build more low income housing and develop urban area (like downtown) near public transportation

YES on Prop 1D - If we can drop $4 Billion a day in Iraq, I think we could afford to drop $10.4 billion on upgrading our schools from Kindergarden up through state run colleges. This is long overdue.

YES on Prop 1E - It creates a fund to prepare our state in the case of a disaster (flood, earthquake, etc) ... so we won't be fucked if anything goes down like in New Orleans.

As Fabolous and his entourage left Diddy's restaraunt Justin's early this morning, a fight broke out between them and another group. Shots were fired and Fab was hit in the leg.

From Eyewitness News:

Eyewitness News has learned the 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is John Jackson, was hit at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 21st Street in the Flatiron District just before 12:30 a.m. The shooting stemmed from a fight that spilled out of Justin's Restaurant, owned by Combs, at 31 West 21st Street.

Police say shots were fired in a parking lot outside the restaurant, and Fabolous was hit in the right thigh. Three friends pulled the rapper into a car, and they sped off to take the rapper to the hospital.

Police pulled the vehicle over at the intersection of East 22nd Street and Third Avenue for speeding through numerous red lights. Two loaded weapons, a 9mm and a .40 caliber handgun, were found in the vehicle. Both of the weapons are apparently unlicensed.

Fab was taken to nearby Bellevue Hospital. Charges are pending against him and the 3 other men he was with.... Will muthafuckas ever learn?

Finally.. Martin will be coming out on DVD, this is a 90's overload for me. Martin was definitely one of the best sitcoms ever on T.V. they did some groundbreaking shit. I mean come on who can forget all the character's on that show Bra man, Hustle man, Ole Otis and Momma Payne just to name a few... Martin was a fool on that shit!! I will definitely be ~~downloading~~ purchasing this DVD.

HBO will release the first season of "Martin" which features not only the first 27 episodes, but a blooper real and commentary from Martin Lawrence himself on his favorite scenes. Check out Amazon on January 2nd!
